For the Choose Your Own Webventure project, I wanted to try and create a seemingly normal scenario, such as shopping in a Walmart, but add a dark yet silly touch that is hidden underneath, as if the Walmart is cursed. When you enter the web site, you are simply greeted with a welcoming message to enter a Walmart. The only choice is to open the door and enter the store, but if you click around where you aren't supposed to, you will enter a forbidden area. Once in the store, you can choose between three sections of the store to shop in: Electronics, Clothing, and Groceries. Each choice allows you to select different items to shop for. But, again, there are multiple hidden parts to this seemingly normal sequence of events. Much of the hidden elements can be found by touching the Walmart logo, attempting to exit the store, or trying to purchase a 'forbidden item'. You may end up in a black hole, or even become transported to an iHOP if you select a forbidden item in the store. There are also some memes and videos that are scattered throughout the site if you end up clicking other elements of the store.
